President's Welcome

Welcome to our 75th year celebrating youth achievements, leadership and dedication to "Building the Future". Having begun in 1924, we are now here in 2001 celebrating all that has brought us to this Diamond Anniversary. As the first fair of its kind we are still going strong in preserving the excellence of a completely youth run fair. I would like to thank all of the volunteers, and sponsors who have so generously supported our fair. This year's officer team has been awesome to work with. It is their extreme dedication to the fair that holds it together.

The Middlesex & New Haven County 4-H Fair has been through a lot in its 75 years of operation. The many generations of youth that have served this event have all brought us to where we are today. Come walk through these 75 years in our timeline display.

We are proud to be taking this event and all of its tradition forward into the 21st Century. I hope that you will come and join our celebration of the oldest fair in America that is managed by youth.
