Our 4-H Fair is held the first full weekend in August: the 2nd, 3rd and 4th in 2024. Saturday and Sunday are the best days to experience the Fair. Location is the fairgrounds in Durham, Connecticut.

Directions to Fairgrounds in Durham

The fairground entrance is adjacent to the south end of the town green on Main Street in Durham, Connecticut. (Durham Library is on the north end of the town green.)

From Guilford and the shore: Take Route 77, past Lake Quonnipaug, and up to the center of Durham. Fairgrounds is on your left, as you drive up Main Street.

From Hartford: Take I-91 South to Route 9 South, switch to Route 17 South at Middletown. Follow Route 17 South into Durham, which becomes Main Street.

From New London: Take I-95 Southbound (travels West) to Madison Exit 61, Route 79. Follow Route 79 North into Durham. The fairgrounds will be on the left, shortly after you arrive on Main Street.

From New Haven: Take I-91 North to Exit 15, travel East on Route 68, Wallingford Road, into Durham and turn right onto Main Street.

From Waterbury: Take I-84 to Exit 27 (Route 691); follow to Route 66 East and turn right onto Route 147. At Durham, turn right onto Main Street.
